Fr. John Anthony Kaiser was a Catholic priest who worked for human rights in Kenya after being exposed to injustices against small-scale farmers in 1968. His compassion for God and humankind motivated him to leave his home in Minnesota, USA, to relentlessly pursue justice in his adopted country of Kenya. Fr. Kaiser’s death in 2000 was met with sorrow, but he is remembered as a compassionate, intelligent and gifted man.
